Kung Fu Panda 3 – Review

If you haven’t had a chance to see the latest in the Kung Fu Panda series, you may want to make s trip with your kids. I would have to say that it was a fun and yes predictable movie, but for the kids they had a great time and the jokes were well timed. Jack Black is back and so is the rest of the original cast, like Jackie Chan, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Seth Rogan, Lucy Liu and David Cross. It still surprises me that they are able to get these actors for the sequels but if the money is right they will show up.

The animation in this is better, I love the way they use the 3D effect with out needing the glasses, which I think is becoming and old fad but that discussion is for another day. The movie has great music which my kids pointed out was using a track from Imagine Dragons. The bad guy in this one helped move the story along and of course I am not giving anything away by saying that good wins over evil. It’s a kids movie, so what else do you think will happen.

I don’t want to give you any major spoilers of the plot or story, but I think you will know what you are getting into with this one. Aside from the first Kung Fu Panda movie this one is better then the second one and give us more of a closure of Po’s story and who his family is and where he comes from. I took my kids and they were highly entertained through out and walked out excited about it. We laughed a lot and were amazed by the action and effects that made the movie that much better. I think they rely on the effects and they did a great job which made this a movie worth watching.

Finally, I am liking how they try to get certain teaching moments in this movies for kids, and do not push any major agendas like some movies would especially for kid movies they always have some hidden message. Overall this is a fun movie and I had a great time watching it.

Love watching, talking and writing about movies i've watched. I want to help others sift through critic reviews, so you can watch a movie you may have missed out on because you were misled by a critic.
