Salt Lake Comic Con Responds to San Diego Comic-Con International

SLCC– The show will go on; San Diego Comic-Con International can’t stop Salt Lake Comic Con from hosting its event on September 4-6, 2014 –

The Salt Lake Comic Con is not going to back down and continue to move forward. They were given a deadline for a response on the cease and desist letter that was sent by the San Diego Comic Con you can read ithere.

I think San Diego is getting a little worried about little old Salt Lake and how they are able to bring the crowds and in only their second year doing this, they are attracting some major companies to join them at the event. Below is a statement from the Salt lake Comic Con Co-Founder.

“The cease and desist letter is baseless and under no circumstances will we surrender our Website, our logo or any of the other things called for in the letter, “said Bryan Brandenburg, Salt Lake Comic Con Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer. “San Diego Comic-Con cannot stop us from holding our show in September. Our attorneys have assured us that we have every right to use the name Salt Lake Comic Con and we hope San Diego is willing to resolve this amicably. We have the resources and are fully prepared to defend our rights and business against this predatory act.”

Love watching, talking and writing about movies i've watched. I want to help others sift through critic reviews, so you can watch a movie you may have missed out on because you were misled by a critic.
